Description
The Raider Model 40 (R40-ES-002) is a multi-fuel, submersible 40HP outboard built for demanding maritime operations where reliability after exposure is critical. It can run on gasoline or, when required, heavy fuels when used with the Raider additive, with a 50:1 2-cycle oil mix. Designed for harsh environments, the engine is rated for full saltwater submersion beyond 65 ft for over 24 hours, and can be restored to operation quickly after recovery using the integrated dewatering procedure. The outboard is also air-deployable from fixed-wing and rotary aircraft (with optional battery cutoffs), and features electric push-button start with multiple backup start methods
